At Reina's Chocolate we make pure chemically free craft chocolates. We have been producing our chocolates from the same location for over six years with Costa Rican cacao and brown cane sugar!
From creamy milk chocolate to decadent dark chocolate, our selection has something for everyone. We also offer unique flavors like lour Fyre bar, toasted caramel coffee, 70% lime and lime salt dark chocolate, our 80% unroasted bar with habenero pepper and himilayan salt, dark milk chocolate, a white Lemon bar, and 70% roasted and 70% unroasted, and many more! All of our chocolates are made chemically free with sustainably sourced cacao and we use no preservatives. The result is incredibly healthy pure chocolates and chocolate beverages!
Our Chocolate Experience lasts 2 hours! You will have at least 5 different chocolate beverages during the workshop, taste a lot of chocolate, learn how chocolate is made, and tour our production facilities and botanical garden(Tamarindobotanicalgarden.com)! We will also teach you how to taste chocolate professionally while sampling the many varieties of chocolate(15+) we have. The cost for our chocolate tasting workshop/experience including the beverages, chocolates, and studying the history of chocolate from the past and the current trends is $50/guest. Workshops are paid in cash(colones or dollars) but purchases in Reina's Cafe and Chocolate Tasting Room are fine with credit cards. Guests should come hungry(not have a large meal before) due to the volume of chocolate we serve you over the 2 hours.

Our Master Class in Chocolate Making is normally at 9 a.m. by appt., and we are limited to 10 guests. The workshop typically lasts about 3 hours.
It can be a little long for children under 9 years of age.
Your chocolate making experience starts at the beginning by roasting cacao beans, and then grinding and making 2 rustic chocolate bars to take home with you! You leave Reina's with the skills to make chocolate from cacao for the rest of your life! During the workshop we take 45 minutes to teach you how to taste chocolate professionally! So you should come hungry as we serve you a lot of chocolate and chocolate beverages over the 3 hours!
You will have at least 15 to 20 different chocolates, 5 or 6 different chocolate beverages, make 2 chocolate bars per person, and tour our production facilities! We now include a walk in our botanical garden to see cacao trees(www.TamarindoBotanicalGarden.com). The cost for your chocolate workshop/experience including the beverages, chocolates, and your chocolate bars is $75/guest. Workshops are paid in cash(colones or dollars) but purchases in Reina's Cafe and Chocolate Tasting Room are fine with credit cards. All workshops are booked directly with me.
